Now That's Going to Leave Some Skid Marks…

Sure motorcycle wheelies can be fun to watch but it's far more entertaining and rare to see a car lifting its two front wheels up in the air, which is what happened at a recent "Holley LS Fest", an event that celebrates anything powered by General Motors' LS V8 engine.

A specially modded and obviously, very powerful, fourth-generation Chevrolet Camaro gave the spectators something to talk about at the event when it took off on the strip heading towards the sky not once but twice, fortunately, without anyone getting hurt.

Drivers Mourn Friend's Death by Illegally Shutting Down an Atlanta Highway to Perform Donuts

We understand that each person or a group of people can have their own way of dealing with the loss of a loved one, but to honor a friend that passed away by illegally shutting down an entire highway to perform donuts with muscle cars in the middle of the day is taking it one-step too far.

It all happened earlier this week on Interstate 285 in Atlanta, Georgia, when a group of friends in several vehicles including a Chevrolet Camaro, a Pontiac G8 sedan and a Firebird Convertible had an entire highway stop and watch their antics.

Florida Cop Fired and Arrested For Slamming Female Driver Suspected of Hit-and-Run Into Her Camaro

A police officer from Pensacola, Florida, was fired and arrested this week following a violent incident in which he slammed a female driver into her latest generation Chevrolet Camaro.

The video footage from Officer Christopher Geraci's vehicle shows the 33-year-old cop talking to Abbi Bonds, 29, who he had found on the side of the road talking on her cell phone.

Geraci approached the woman on suspicion of being involved in two hit-and-run incidents that occurred in the early-morning hours of August 2, according to her arrest report.

Chevrolet COPO Camaro Completes Quarter Mile Run in 8.88 Seconds

The 2012 Chevrolet Central Office Production Order (COPO) Camaro was revealed in concept form at last year's SEMA show in Vegas. As it went from concept to production, the drag strip-prepped Camaro came with a choice of a 7.0-liter (427 c.i.) V8 or a 5.3-liter supercharged (327 c.i.) V8.

Only 69 examples of these $89,000 (€72,000) high performance Camaros will be manufactured in honor of the 1969 ZL1 COPO Camaro.

1969 Chevy Camaro SS Burns, Woman Asks Firefighters if it's their First Fire… [NSFW]

Truth to be said, anyone seeing his or her precious ride being destroyed would not react calmly, which probably explains why the woman in this video is freaking out as she watches the classic Camaro being engulfed by flames.

The Arlington Cardinal reported that the 1969 Camaro SS was transported home by a Chevy Silverado to Palatine, Illinois, after it was on display at a local high school charity car show, when the owner noticed smoke blowing out the back door of the trailer.

New 2013 Chevrolet Camaro 1LE Priced, Pictured and Filmed on the Track

General Motors is looking to give the 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302 with or without the Laguna Seca package a run for its money with a new edition of its 2013 Chevrolet Camaro named 1LE.

The 1LE is offered as a $3,500 (€2,850) package on the Camaro 1SS and 2 SS V8 coupe models with the 6-speed manual gearbox. A Camaro 1SS 1LE starts at $37,035 (€30,100)m which includes a $900 destination charge.

Inspired by the first Camaro 1LE from 1988, the new model keeps the standard SS' 6.2-liter V8 delivering 426hp (318 kW) and 420 lb-ft (569Nm), but swaps the Tremec TR6060-M10 6-speed manual for a Tremec TR6060-MM6 with the same number of gears but a numerically higher 3.91 final-drive ratio, closer-ratio gearing and a liquid-to-liquid cooling system.

There are more changes to be found in the suspension as the 1LE features exclusive, monotube rear dampers instead of the twin-tube dampers on SS models, larger 27-mm solid front- and 28-mm solid rear-stabilizer bars and a strut tower brace.

Meet the King of Camaro Bling: SS Convertible Chromed Inside and Out Riding on 32-inch Wheels

We would say that "excessive" does not even begin to describe this creation from the admittedly imaginative crews of '813 Customs' and 'Mad Mark's Stereo' tuning shops.

Hiding beneath all that chrome is a fifth generation 2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS with GM's 6.2-liter V8 engine.

The mirror shiny wrap is accented by red pin and racing stripes, a custom front grille, colorless tail lamp covers, LED strips on the hood opening, devilish-looking headlamps and fog lights in red, and of course, massive 32-inch wheels that create enough ground clearance to allow the Camaro to pass over...a Fiat 500.

2015 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe Design Study: What do Think?

There is a debate going on right now, as to whether Chevrolet designers should make the next Camaro coupe, expected to be introduced in 2015, look more like a first-generation model (1967-1969) or the second-generation version built from 1970 to 1981.

But what if GM and Chevrolet were to take a different path and create something with very few, if any, retro touches?

Watch How a Front Splitter gets a Carbon Fiber Look with the Hydrographic Process

There many ways to apply a carbon fiber film on a component of your car or various other surfaces, for that matter, but one of the lesser-known techniques is Hydrographics, also referred to as immersion printing and water transfer imaging.

In a nutshell, Hydrographics is a process that offers a 360-degree transfer of any kind of graphics onto three-dimensional objects, just as long as the material is non-porous and can be immersed into water without the fear of being damaged.

Tuned 2013 Mustang 302 Supposedly Shows Camaro ZL1 Who's Boss

The eternal bickering between GM and Ford fans continues with a new video that shows a tuned 2013 Mustang Boss 302 taking the edge over a stock Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in a straight-line acceleration match on the road from 40mph (~65km/h).

In stock guise, the Mustang Boss 302's 5.0-liter V8 pushes out 444 ponies at 7,400 rpm and 380 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm. However, the white example seen in the video is said to have been upgraded with "a JLT intake, a 3-inch Xpipe and an AED tune", without any mention on the output figures.

Shelby GT500 and Camaro ZL1 Battle it Out on the Test Track

Whichever way you crunch the numbers, the new 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 owns the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 when it comes to sheer power.

According to their respective manufacturers, at the flywheel, the $54,995 Camaro ZL1's 6.2-liter supercharged V8 produces 580hp at 6,000 rpm and 556 lb.-ft. (754 Nm) at 4,200 rpm, while the $54,200 Shelby GT500's 5.8-liter supercharged V8 delivers 662hp at 6,250 rpm and 631 lb.-ft. (856Nm) at 4,000 rpm.

In a recent dyno test from Inside Line, the Camaro ZL1 delivered 497hp and 497 lb-ft (673Nm) on the rear wheels, while the Shelby GT500, 595hp and 602 lb-ft (815Nm) respectively.

So, how do these numbers translate on the road? Well, after drawing their swords on the dyno, Inside Line took the two cars to the track, and the results are both expected and to some extent, surprising.

Naturally, the more powerful Ford was faster than the Chevy recording a 0-60mph (96km/h) time of 4.0 seconds and completing the quarter mile (400m) in 11.9 seconds with an exit speed of 123.5mph (198.7 km/h).

'Yellow Steam Hammer' is a Supercharged Camaro by O.CT-Tuning with 621-Horses

Germany's O.CT-Tuning tells us that the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS with its naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 that produces 426-horsepower and 420 lb-ft (569Nm) of peak torque is not fast enough and that owners should take a look at its new performance package called the "Yellow Steam Hammer". 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Runs the Quarter Mile in 11.93 Seconds

General Motors engineers recently took the new 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 to the drag strip to see how fast it could run the quarter mile (~400m).

Watch Lizzy Musi's Crash from Multiple Angles and How the Cameraman Jumped at the Last Moment

On April 20, Lizzy Musi made the news when the 21-year old drag racer and daughter of veteran racer Pat Musi lost control of her 1968 Chevrolet Camaro during the third qualifying session of Summit Racing Top Sportsman at the 2012 ADRL Spring Drags III at Bristol Dragway.

The Camaro turned sideways and went airborne before it violently crashed onto the left wall. To make a bad situation even worse, Musi's car headed towards the camera operator positioned behind the concrete wall before coming to a stop in the grass on the side of the track.

In this new video that contains footage from multiple angles, we see the crash in detail and how the camera operator literally jumped over the wall at the last moment (see 2:35" into the clip), a move that most certainly saved his life.

Amazingly, no one got hurt from the forceful accident. You can watch the video footage for yourself right past the break.
